RJI CPAs Chairman Manuel Ramirez Appointed as President of DFK USA

RJI CPAs is excited to share the appointment of Manuel J. Ramirez as President of the DFK USA Executive Committee. Ramirez served as Treasurer and President-Elect of the Board in 2023, roles that have equipped him to effectively lead the national tax, audit and accounting services organization.

“Manuel is a distinguished leader in both the finance and DFK USA and International communities whose unwavering commitment to elevating our industry and organization positions him exceptionally well to guide both the finance industry and our organization forward,” said DFK USA Executive Director Will Eckerson.

DFK USA is the national arm of DFK International, an association of independent accounting firms with 455 offices and 14,000 employees operating across 100 countries and territories. Driven by its mission to deliver the utmost in professional services, DFK USA fosters collaboration and facilitates the sharing of ideas, knowledge and information among esteemed public accounting firms and leaders across the U.S.

“As an organization, we have an exceptional opportunity to recommit ourselves to collaborating and deepening our connections across the public accounting sphere to better assist our diverse clientele in achieving their financial aspirations,” Ramirez said. “I’m thrilled to lead these efforts.”

Ramirez is Chairman of the Board of RJI CPAs, where he served as President and CEO for two decades, from 1993 until 2013, before assuming his current role. For over four decades, this experience has served clients that include financial agencies, government entities, healthcare providers, publicly traded corporations, real estate developers, nonprofit organizations and privately held enterprises.

In 2007, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Ramirez to the California Board of Accountancy. His contributions were duly recognized in 2010, when he was elected President of the board. Beyond his professional commitments, Ramirez has demonstrated a deep commitment to his local community. He co-founded and served as the first Chairman of the Hispanic 100 PAC board. He also served as Chairman and President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Orange County and co-founded the Orange County Catholic Foundation among other noteworthy endeavors.
