RJI CPAs is excited to share the appointment of Manuel J. Ramirez as President of the DFK USA Executive Committee. Ramirez served as Treasurer and President-Elect of the Board in 2023, roles that have equipped him to effectively lead the national tax, audit and accounting services organization.

Ramirez is Chairman of the Board of RJI CPAs, where he served as President and CEO for two decades, from 1993 until 2013, before assuming his current role. He embarked on his journey in public accounting in 1981. At the Orange County office of an assurance, tax and consulting firm, he began accumulating a wealth of expertise in international taxation and consulting. For over four decades, this experience has served clients that include financial agencies, government entities, healthcare providers, publicly traded corporations, real estate developers, nonprofit organizations and privately held enterprises.
In 2007, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Ramirez to the California Board of Accountancy. His contributions were duly recognized in 2010, when he was elected President of the board. Beyond his professional commitments, Ramirez has demonstrated a deep commitment to his local community. He co-founded and served as the first Chairman of the Hispanic 100 PAC board. He also served as Chairman and President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Orange County and co-founded the Orange County Catholic Foundation among other noteworthy endeavors.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Fullerton and a Master of Science in Tax Law from Golden Gate University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in California.
