IRVINE, Calif. (February 27, 2009) – Ramirez International, a full-service CPA and consulting firm, has announced that Daniel C. Garrett, CPA, has been appointed to senior manager of the firm’s estate and tax services practice. Garrett joined Ramirez International in May 2008 as a manager, bringing with him more than 25 years of experience in public accounting, including taxation, accounting and auditing.
In his new role, Garrett will oversee the firm’s estate and tax services practice, which provides full services to clients both domestic and international, as well as public and private. Garrett will additionally utilize his long-term public accounting experience to manage and enhance the firm’s estate and trust department. Since joining Ramirez International, Garrett has overseen clients in large and mid-market C corporations and S Corporations, as well as partnerships, LLCs and individuals.

Garrett, a resident of Irvine, Calif., earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting, from California State University, Northridge. He received his master’s of business administration in Tax Law from Golden Gate University, in San Francisco, Calif.
As a certified public accountant, Garrett is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a board member of both the Los Angeles and Orange County chapters of Kiwanis International and Rotary International.
