When Ian isn’t focusing on practice development and client retention for RJI CPAs, he can be found on the golf course or driving down the coast with the top down in his corvette or custom-built Mazda MX-5.
Ian knew of the solid reputation of RJI CPAs long before joining the firm in early 2020. When he heard of an opportunity to work with the team, he jumped at the chance. Since then, he says he’s enjoyed working with a great group of professionals with different skills and experiences. As a professional service provider, he says it’s all about client relationships and making their lives easier.
Ian’s two adult children are both located in SoCal, his son working as a teacher in the Placentia-Yorba Linda school district and his daughter, following in Dad’s footsteps, is a CPA and controller for a private investment firm in West Los Angeles.
Ian’s favorite quote is, “Whether it’s the best of times or the worst of times, it’s the only time we’ve got,” offering an important reminder to make the most of every day during these challenging times.
