RJI CPAs is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Auditors (CalCPA). We are also members of DFK International, which provides a global network of resources with extensive technical capabilities.

Whatever your accounting needs, the professionals at RJI CPAs are positioned to help. Services we provide include:

  • Public Company Audits
We provide audits and quarterly reviews for public company registrants across industries, from entities with large market capitalization to those in the process of registering with the SEC. Many of our clients have public float of less than $75 million. We also have experience auditing "accelerated filers," which are required to have an audit of their internal controls in addition to their financial statements.

We have assisted clients with initial public offerings (IPOs) and reverse mergers, as well as obtaining additional capital through secondary offerings, private placements and debt offerings.

RJI CPAs is registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), which oversees audit services provided by CPA firms to SEC issuers.
  • Private Company Audits
Your organization may need to report under different sets of standards, depending on the needs of your financial statement users. Regardless of your requirements, we can customize our solutions to meet your needs. Your audit will be performed by an experienced team that understands your industry.

We provide audit and assurance services to privately held corporations ranging in size from start-ups to multi-billion-dollar businesses.
  • Reviews
The objective of a review is to examine financial statements and determine whether they are consistent with generally accepted accounting principles. A review provides limited assurance that there are no material modifications that should be made to a company’s financial statements. This level of assurance is obtained by performing analytical procedures to management’s financial data and making inquiries of company management.
  • Compilation Engagements
The objective of a compilation is to assist management in presenting financial information in the form of financial statements. It is not designed to express an opinion or provide assurance regarding the information contained in the financial statement.
  • Agreed-Upon Procedures
An agreed upon procedures (AUP) engagement is similar to an audit, but on a limited scale. It is often used to identify specific problems that require immediate action. The specific procedures to be performed are agreed-upon the by the specific parties, and may vary widely as to the nature, timing and extent. RJI CPAs performs specific procedures and issues a report on the findings. It is the client's responsibility to draw conclusions based on those findings.

AUP engagements allow you to choose only those procedures you deem necessary, so they can be very cost-effective.
  • Due Diligence / Mergers & Acquisitions
Successful deals require a clear understanding of opportunities and risks. We conduct financial due diligence for buyers and sellers to help identify areas of strength and weakness. Our experience also extends to performing Quality of Earnings engagements.

Due diligence helps to identify areas that can affect deal negotiations. We have assisted sellers to position their company for a sale and we have worked with buyers to structure their transaction strategically. Services include financial due diligence, deal structuring, tax planning, financial planning, and consultation.
  • Internal Audit / SOX
The benefits of an internal audit include reliable financial reports, regulatory compliance, the ability to navigate risks and streamline operations. We provide independent assurance and internal control services that improve business and financial operations and mitigate overall risks.

We have helped organizations with internal control documentation, risk assessment, process mapping, internal control testing and reporting.

Our clients receive customized solutions based on their specific needs.

    We provide audit services to:

    • Defined benefit pension plans
    • Defined contribution – 401(k) plans
